Walk-away Lock and Approach Unlock

Walk‑Away Locking activates when the key fob moves more than 2 metres away from the vehicle. As the vehicle locks, door handles retract to their closed position, side mirrors fold inward, and the security system arms.

Approach Unlocking triggers when a user carrying the key fob approaches within 1.5 metres of the vehicle. The door handles extend to the ready‑to‑open position, side mirrors unfold, and the security system disarms once a door is opened.

Both functions can be enabled or disabled through the PiVi Pro menu path: Vehicle > Safety and Security.
